Hypershift is an intelligent, high-torque auto-drive system designed to enhance the riding experience on EPAC (Electronically Power Assisted Cycles) e-bikes. It introduces a revolutionary way of cycling—eliminating the need for gear shifting while offering dynamic torque assistance exactly when it’s needed.

Built with smart software, responsive sensors, and a powerful motor unit, Hypershift adapts to your riding conditions and automatically engages during high-resistance moments—such as uphill climbs or slow starts—delivering a smoother, safer, and more intuitive ride.

Hypershift is an advanced pedal-assist mode available alongside traditional support modes like ECO, TOUR, and BOOST. It adds temporary bursts of extra torque—boosting motor output up to 500–600W—to help riders maintain speed, control, and comfort in challenging scenarios like hill climbs or headwinds.

  • Normal Mode: Delivers consistent power (250W continuous) based on user-selected settings.
  • Hypershift Mode: Temporarily overrides this limit for additional support, with torque outputs up to:
    • 120Nm (Gen 1)
    • 150Nm (Gen 2)

Note: 250W is the rated continuous output; Hypershift unlocks higher power temporarily for performance spikes.

How It Works

Intelligent Activation

Hypershift activates automatically or manually when the system detects a need for more torque. A real-time algorithm analyzes:

  • Road slope/incline
  • Pedal torque
  • Cadence (rotations per minute)
  • E-bike speed

If high resistance is detected (e.g., steep hill, slow speed, or increased effort), Hypershift engages and delivers elevated power. Once conditions normalize—or the time limit is reached—the system reverts to normal mode to prevent overheating.

Transition Example: Flat to Hill

Hypershift activates automatically or manually when the system detects a need for more torque. A real-time algorithm analyzes:

  1. Flat Road – Normal Mode
    Standard 250W is sufficient. No extra support needed.
  2. Approaching a Slope – Torque Demand Rises
    Rider slows down and applies more pedal force.
  3. Hypershift Activation
    System detects resistance, slope, cadence, and low speed → triggers Hypershift.
    Motor output increases to ~500W.
  4. Return to Normal Mode
    After the climb or when cooldown is needed, Hypershift disengages and returns to the standard output.
